We believe that good communication and partnership between home and school is vital. If you have any concerns over school or would like to share wider information affecting your child, please get in touch. We will be happy to respond by phone, e-mail or through a meeting.
- We aim to acknowledge communication from parents within one working day (for example through a note in the planner, phone call/message or e-mail acknowledgement) and to respond within three days wherever possible.
- We will always see parents who come in to school on urgent matters. Wherever possible, however, parents are asked to telephone in advance to make an appointment to avoid waiting and to ensure you meet with the member of staff best placed to help.
- The Principal, Vice Principals and senior staff are always willing to meet with parents by arrangement. Parents Surgeries also take place each Thursday from 3.30 – 4.30pm in main reception, when you can drop in without an appointment.
We ask parents and students in Year 7 – 11 to sign the Home School Agreement as the basis for partnership between school and home. A separate agreement is used in the Sixth Form.
The Home School Agreement is included as part of the Parent and Student Guide 2014-2015.
