Sixth Form Centre
Our dedicated Sixth Form area enjoys its own facilities, conference rooms and study areas, and a core part of our mission is to prepare all students who attend for adult life.
Through our wide horizons curriculum, we seek to instil important values, attitudes and knowledge that will help all of our students to thrive in a rapidly changing society.
Many Stantonbury students stay on to our Sixth Form which offers a mix of traditional A Levels, Level 3 courses and we have one of the largest Performing Arts faculties in the area.
Full curriculum maps for year 12 and 13 are available on this section
We are very proud of the progress that students make while in the Sixth Form
The hard work of our staff, students and parents have resulted in high academic standards and the vast majority of our students progress to Higher Education.
We guide students aiming at top universities in their choice of appropriate subjects and ensure those wishing to pursue specific vocations and careers are guided to make choices which will lead to the very best higher education, apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
In 2018 university places were confirmed at Imperial College London, Cambridge, Warwick, Birmingham and many more.
Sixth Form students at Stantonbury have access to a very broad range of subjects and fantastic facilities in the performing arts, sport, science, design technology, ICT and media.
As well as striving for academic success, we encourage students to participate in a broad range of extra-curricular experiences both within the school and the wider community.
Every year, students are offered the opportunity to take part in a range of educational visits and many choose to volunteer or take part in charity work.
Our Sixth Form is a vibrant place to study and offers excellence in teaching and learning as well as high-quality resources.
