All students have targets to challenge them to make good progress. These reflect their starting points, and in particular, the levels they achieved in English and mathematics at the end of primary school.
The year starts with a Meet the Tutor appointment in early autumn, followed by subject evenings throughout the year.
Following consultation with parents we changed the way we report progress. There are five or six reports over the year to keep you up-to-date with progress, homework, attitude to learning and attendance. These are sent home the second week of each half-term.
These notes (pdf) explains parental reporting.
When you receive your child’s reports, if you notice any issues or problems, please contact your child’s tutor in the first instance.
