We are delighted to present work from across the school in exhibitions in the Stantonbury Theatre Gallery to showcase the high skill level our students posess and which we are proud to help develop.
Our next exhibition will be the third in a new regular line up of exhibitions which will include work from our current keystage 3 and year 12 students.
Students in our year 12 A-level group have recently completed their mock exam and our BTEC students are working to develop an art trail for the school. The work presented in our exhibition represents work in progress and initial investigations in their coursework portfolio’s.
Our keystage 3 art students have taken inspiration from Picasso’s portraits and collages to produce strong pieces using oil pastels and other techniques, whilst our DT students have been exploring graphic design skills with festival posters.
We are proud of the high quality work students are producing this year and are pleased to be able to present their work to the local community through this exhibition.
In June we will be showing the work of our GCSE students with a selection of examples from this years 10 and 11 students work. We hope you will come to see and to celebrate the work students have produced.
