Harry Arksey's International Badminton Success

Harry Arksey (10DPD) is enjoying huge success playing badminton at National and International level.
In the Eight Nations tournament held in Sweden recently, he won Team bronze and two further medals – a silver in Doubles and bronze in Mixed Doubles. This is an outstanding achievement, as the very best in Europe took part, and the England team weren’t expected to get anywhere near winning a medal – of any colour.
Earlier this month, in the National U15s tournament, Harry won two golds. He has now won medals at every national event since U11, often competing against opponents who were a year older.
Congratulations Harry from everyone at Stantonbury!

Camera Equipment Donated to the Campus

Local photographer and artist Paul Van den Hende has generously donated camera lighting equipment to the Campus.
The equipment includes floodlights, flashlights, stands, a 3m x 4.5 backdrop, snoots and soft boxes.
Mr Van den Hende’s wife, Wendy, was a governor at the Campus for 22 years, and their grown up sons, Robin and Giles, are former students.
