Camera Equipment Donated to the Campus

Local photographer and artist Paul Van den Hende has generously donated camera lighting equipment to the Campus.
The equipment includes floodlights, flashlights, stands, a 3m x 4.5 backdrop, snoots and soft boxes.
Mr Van den Hende’s wife, Wendy, was a governor at the Campus for 22 years, and their grown up sons, Robin and Giles, are former students.
Teacher Martin Jackson (left) is pictured holding one of the spotlights donated by Mr Van den Hende (right).

New Homework Policy
A new Campus homework policy will begin this term. All students now have an individual homework timetable which outlines when homework will be set for each subject. As parents you can help by:
- Monitoring the homework set for your child by checking and signing their planner each week
- Helping and encouraging your child to complete homework to the best of their ability
- Liaising with your child’s Head of Key Stage if you have any concerns over homework
Look at Planner Live for specific details of the homework task.
Year 9 Options Choices
Year 9 students will begin the option process this term with new courses and curriculum available from September 2013. This is a key time in education where GCSE and BTec subjects are chosen for study during Year 10 and 11. Students will be supported in this process with an option assembly at the beginning of term. The parents evening on 10th January and subject information evening on 17th January will give Year 9 parents further support and guidance on the option process. These are important events for parents to attend.
