‘Structure of the Governing Body’
The governing body works closely with the Principal and senior teachers to plan how best to provide an excellent education to the young people of the local community. It also checks that standards of teaching are high, that all students make good progress and that the best range of educational opportunities possible is available to them. Closer consultation and partnership with parents and students will be vital to our work.
Nine governors form the Commissioning Board of Governance. These Commissioners work with the Principal to ensure not only that legal duties are met, but also that plans are made and successfully implemented to improve the education provided by the Campus. The Commissioners are helped by a group of Associate Governors- known as Counsellors, who form the Monitoring, Advice and Research Council. These Counsellors meet with staff, students and parents to check that standards are high and improvements made, so that every student can achieve to the best of their ability.

The new Campus governance structure includes Commissioners and Counsellors
