THE ARTS COLLECTIVE

A community arts project written by Yaw Asiyamah and produced by The Arts Collective, in association with various directors.

Yaw Asiyama is a Milton Keynes based playwright, poet and actor whose works include A Slave's Story, Me Marley and I and What Black Women Want. His cluster project this year is a collection of new pieces realised through other directors. Who killed Cock Robin is an old school soul and blues inspired musical. The Boy Who Broke My Heart is a heart rending story of intergenerational understanding. Ladies Who Do Pizza explores the complex dynamic friendship within a group of friends. Very honest. Warts and all! Tour of Duty is a father daughter relationship story which visits all our fears and triumphs!
