The Orchestra gave its first performance at Stantonbury in February 1975, under the direction of Founder, Conductor, Hilary Davan Wetton. His inimitable approach to music making enabled the Orchestra to establish a national and international reputation as the live classical music resource for Milton Keynes and the surrounding area. This programme celebrates this characteristic style.

Soloist Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe's 2011 Winner, Piano - to be announced

It is a great privilege for the Orchestra to collaborate with tonight's soloist, fresh from their Yamaha Scholarship win. The Yamaha Music Foundation Scholarship Competition is open to students not older than 25 years, with final rounds and announcement of winners taking place in February. This is a unique opportunity to witness the progression of a blossoming musical career.
